GUYS! I'm dead! This post looks so amazing, when I put together this entry I was really blown away! Thank you so much for so many beautiful icons <3

Now to my fave (it's hard to pick just a few, but those were my absolute favourites):
applepips16 - your use of light, color and contrast is just so beautiful. I adore the crop and light o that Carol icon so much. Also the light, soft look of the pink Marie antoinette, WOW!


daisiestea - these look so clean, and soft. I adore the colors you used. Also the light on close crops is just so on point! I'm so in love with all TMMM ones :)


lady_turner - your creativity always blows me away, the compositions are just so pretty, and colorful. And the clean look on the cut-outs are so amazing! The anna Karenina one just blew me away!


narnialover7 - I really like the soft look of your icons, they always have this airy feeling for me!


novindalf - you really have an eye for making original caps look so fine! I love Floral and B&W the most, but also the negative space, and pastele colors on few of these looks wonderful!


rizbef - your use of light looks so amazing, also your icons look so soft. I'm in awe.


violateraindrop - the colors <3 I always adore your vibrant coloring, also this set have so many wonderful crops! The crop and light on Hair!Porn is my all time fave :)


wandererjulia - color and contrast on these looks just wonderful, also the crops (especilly the far / original background ones) are just to die for!

There are some truly spectacular results here from everyone, but I tried hard to pick out my favourites.

Your lighting and colouring was particularly beautiful, whether that was vibrant, muted or black and white. You showcased such a variety here, it's really impressive.

I love what you do with negative space icons and these were no exception, but I was particularly drawn to the dramatic close crop icons you had here too, especially the ones with the muted yet bright colouring.

The animated icons are so impressive and the animation is seamless and perfect for the icons. You had some stunning crops, but this one jumped out at me because it reminds me of a Renaissance painting somehow, with the muted colours and deep emotion. And your texture use was, as ever, so on point.

The colouring wizardry strikes again! I love what you do with enhancing colours from a screencap but still managing to make it look so natural. There were some great compositions with textures, especially this second one. And as always your close cropping is so impressive, and I love the yellow colouring on this too.

Beautiful work with negative space and textures, and your cut-outs are just perfect every time! I loved the muted colouring from a few of these but especially this second one with the original background. And I don't know how you did it but the unusual colouring of the third icon is heavenly! I really think I have to add this show to my watch list after seeing all your gorgeous icons.

also i love the ones you picked for me, funnily enough only 2 of them are the ones i would have chosen for myself lol (really that fake background one was the bane of my existence hence the copious amount of alternatives i submitted!)

thank you darling! idk what came over me while coloring these icons but it was so much fun working with different types of vibrancy, besides i rarely even make muted color icons cause i'm not that good. but anyway first one from these is from alias grace, a beautiful mini series which should be on netflix and I highly recommend giving it a watch!!
